Straight answers if you've been contacted by CollFin Receivables about an account.

Is CollFin Receivables a legitimate company?

Yes. CollFin Receivables LLC is a licensed and bonded debt collection agency. You can review our licenses by state on our licensing page, and every call we make is recorded and reviewed for compliance.

How do I know the debt is really mine?

Ask us to verify it. When you request validation, we send written confirmation of the amount owed and the original creditor, and we pause collection activity until you receive it.

What are my options to pay?

You can pay in full online or by phone, set up a payment plan, or ask about a settlement. If money is tight, we also have hardship options, including charity-care screening for eligible medical accounts.

I don't think I owe this. What do I do?

File a dispute. We acknowledge it, pause activity on the account, and investigate within the timeframes the law requires. You won't be pressured while we look into it.

Will this affect my credit?

It depends on the account and the original creditor's reporting. If an account is reported, we report accurately and update it promptly when you pay or dispute. Ask us about the specifics of your account.

How do I stop the calls or texts?

You control how we contact you. Use our manage contact page to set preferences or submit a cease-communication request — it's honored across every channel right away. (Stopping contact doesn't erase the balance.)

What are my rights?

The FDCPA and Regulation F protect you — validation, disputes, contact limits, and freedom from harassment. See your rights for the plain-English version.

This is a communication from a debt collector. This is an attempt to collect a debt, and any information obtained will be used for that purpose.
